A new release of Callisto is available for download! After a long hiatus, much of which was spent improving and developing individual tasks, a new release of the core is available!
A new release of Callisto is available for download! This is a maintenance release fixing update issues that were only apparent in the TIMEX2 Task.
A new release of Callisto is available for download! Third party jars are now easily included and distributed with tasks, and mouse events have been significantly overhauled. Users will notice easier editing and more consistent behavior between the various display widgets.
We have begun using the maven tool to ease web page creation and site updating. We have also included a 'default' no-auth page for those who do not already have access. Please feel free to pass the site URL along to interested parties, and they may request their own account!
The download page has been updated with a new version of Callisto, this one with a brand new installer! Many bug fixes and usability enhancements have gone into this version. There is now only one file to download for all files. The installer also integrates Callisto in the Windows environment much better, by providing Shortcuts on your desktop and program groups.
An error in the build scripts created problematic distribution files for v1.0.9. Those have been removed, and replaced with corrected files. Our apologies for the inconvenience.
Once again, the download page has a new version of Callisto! It's been some time since the last release, and we've been busy fixing and adding features you've asked for! This release fixes a number of issues with selecting annotations, and acting upon them, sorting issues in the tables, and a host of other user interface enhancements. The RDC task has received a good deal of work for this version, and there are two new tasks to choose from!
Once again, the download page has a new version of Callisto! This is primarily a bug fix release, addressing issues for first time users of Callisto.
The latest version of Callisto is now available from the download page. This version is released to handle several of minor requests and bugs found in the previous version.
One important change is that installing new task jar files is now easier! Task jar files can now be installed in a 'tasks' directory next to the Callisto.jar file. NOTE: You will need to remove the old .jar files currently in your personal tasks folder "$(HOME)/.callisto/tasks". See the documentation on installing tasks for more information.
The latest version of Callisto is now available from the download page. This version fixes a number of bugs fixes many issues with the EELD/RDC task. An annoying error reading some UTF-8 from sgml files has been fixed, annotation menus have become easier to use, and we think it's all around just better! One of these days we'll get in the habit of creating change-logs, and you can see just what changed, until then feel free to contact us.
Introducing the Callisto web site, a repository of information and resources for MITRE's Modular Annotation Tool. We are actively adding information and refining what is here, so please bear with us as updates will be happening irregularly. Suggestions and comments are always welcome.
Of greatest interest will be our download section, where you can get the latest version of callisto, and corresponding task modules. Also note we have made an on-line version of the documentation.
